The State is on Fire

I was sent a map of the current Califorina Fire. If you zoom way out it looks like the whole state is on fire. According to what my parents are seeing on the news on the East Coast, the rest of the country thinks the whole state is on fire. Yes I have smelled the smoke and see the haze, but I have yet to see any fires this year. I am happy about that.

Fire, Fire, It Burns my Soul

Yesterday I was sent a map of the Significant California Fires - June 2008. Damn there are a lots of fires. Yesterday I could smell the smoke in my apartment. The map is cool. If you zoom out all the way the whole state seems like it is on fire.

Hearts on Fire

This fire was about 2 miles away from work. There were a whole bunch of people at work collected around the window watching the fire burn. I thought this was funny. We were all trying to figure out what was on fire. I said it was construction and it appears that
I was correct. There was something primal about it.
